Poetry: “I Thought I Had To Pee” (a work in progress)

I thought I had to pee but I couldn’t pee a drop

I thought it was a bee, but the hornet stung nonstop

I thought I earned a C, but the teacher gave an F

I thought they got a touchdown, but was called back by the ref

I thought my dog was clean ’til I saw the nasty flea

I thought I’d drive my car, but I couldn’t find my key

AndI wanted some coffee, but I only had some tea…(tbc?)
